Article 1 - Scope of Application

  1. 1-1. The accommodation contract and related agreements that the hotel concludes with guests shall be governed by the provisions of these terms and conditions. For any matters not stipulated in these terms, the contract shall be governed by laws or generally established customs.
  2. 1-2. In cases where the hotel agrees to a special agreement or contract that does not violate laws or customs, the provisions of such a special agreement or contract shall take precedence over the preceding terms.

Article 2 - Application for an Accommodation Agreement

  1. 2-1. Those applying for an accommodation agreement at the hotel shall provide the hotel with the following information
    1. (1) Guest name, address, age, gender, nationality, and occupation.
    2. (2) The date of stay and estimated time of arrival
    3. (3) Accommodation fees (generally based on the Basic Accommodation Fees in Appendix 1.)
    4. (4) In the case of guests under the age of 18 staying alone, a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian is required
    5. (5) Guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when staying at the hotel
    6. (6) Other information the hotel deems necessary
  2. 2-2. In the event that a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date listed in(2)of the preceding paragraph, an application for a new accommodation agreement is deemed to have been made at the time the request was made.

Article 3 - Establishment of the Accommodation Agreement

  1. 3-1. The accommodation agreement shall be established when the hotel accepts the application set forth in the preceding paragraph. However, this does not apply when the hotel proves it has not accepted the application.
  2. 3-2. When an accommodation agreement has been established as per the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest must pay a deposit set by the hotel by the deadline designated by the hotel.
  3. 3-3. The deposit shall first be allocated to room charges ultimately payable by the guest, then allocated to fines followed by compensation for damages in the event that the provisions of Articles 6 and 16 apply; any remaining deposit shall be returned at the time of payment in accordance with Article 12.
  4. 3-4. The accommodation agreement shall cease to be effective when the guest fails to pay the deposit set forth in Paragraph 2 by the deadline designated by the hotel. However, this is limited to cases in which the hotel notifies guests of a deposit deadline.

Article 4 - Special Agreements Not Requiring a Deposit

  1. 4-1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the hotel may accept special agreements that do not require payment of a deposit.
  2. 4-2. The preceding paragraph on special agreements shall apply when the hotel does not request payment of the deposit set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify a deposit payment deadline when accepting applications for an accommodation agreement.

Article 5 - Refusal of Accommodation Agreements.

The hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation agreement in the following cases.

  1. 5-1. When the accommodation application violates the stipulations of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. 5-2. When guestrooms are fully booked.
  3. 5-3. When a potential guest is deemed likely to break the law, disrupt public order, or act contrary to public morals during their stay.
  4. 5-4. When a potential guest is deemed to fall under any of the following categories (i) to (iii) :
    1. An organized crime group under the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991) as stipulated in Article 2 Paragraph 2 (hereinafter “organized crime group”), a member of an organized crime group as stipulated in Article 2 Paragraph 6 (hereinafter “organized crime group member”), an associate member or affiliate of an organized crime group or any other antisocial force.
    2. When the applicant is involved in corporations or other organizations whose operations are controlled by an organized crime group.
    3. When any of the directors of the applicant’s corporation is classified as a member of an organized crime group.
  5. 5-5. When the potential guest’s behavior poses a significant nuisance to other guests.
  6. 5-6. When a potential guest is a patient of a specified infectious disease.
  7. 5-7. When a guest engages in acts of violence, threats, extortion, or intimidation to make unjust or unreasonable demands against the hotel or its employees.
  8. 5-8. When the hotel is unable to accommodate guests due to natural disaster, facility malfunction, or other inevitable circumstances.
  9. 5-9. If and when there are circumstances where accommodation can be refused in accordance with provisions of various laws, ordinances, or prefectural regulations.
  10. 5-10. When it is recognized that the potential guest intending to stay has previously engaged in any of the actions specified in Article 7, Paragraph 1 to 9, or other actions not in accordance with these terms and conditions during a stay at any hotel within the hotel group.

Article 6 - The Guest’s Right to Terminate the Accommodation Agreement

  1. 6-1. Guests may request that the hotel to terminate the accommodation agreement.
  2. 6-2. If a guest terminates all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to them, except in cases where the hotel has specified a payment deadline for the application fee under Article 3 Paragraph 2), and demanded payment, but the guest terminates the accommodation contract before making such payment, our hotel will charge a penalty fee as specified in Schedule 2.
  3. 6-3. The hotel may consider the accommodation contract terminated by the guest if they do not arrive by 24:00 on the day of their scheduled without prior notice.

Article 7 - The Hotel’s Right to Terminate the Accommodation Agreement

The hotel may terminate the accommodation agreement in the following cases.

  1. 7-1. When the guest is deemed likely to break the law, disrupt public order, or act contrary to public morals, or has engaged in such acts, during their stay.
  2. 7-2. When the guest is deemed to fall under any of the following categories (i) to (iii):
    1. An organized crime group or a member, associate member, or affiliate of an organized crime group or any other antisocial force
    2. When the applicant is involved in corporations or other organizations whose operations are controlled by an organized crime group.
    3. When any of the directors of the applicant’s corporation is classified as a member of an organized crime group
  3. 7-3. When the guest’s behavior poses a significant nuisance to other guests.
  4. 7-4. When the guest is a patient of a specified infectious disease.
  5. 7-5. When a guest engages in acts of violence, threats, extortion, or intimidating unreasonable demands towards the accommodation facility or its staff (employees).
  6. 7-6. When and if unable to accommodate due to reasons arising from natural disasters or other force majeure events.
  7. 7-7. If and when there are circumstances where accommodation can be refused in accordance with provisions of various laws, ordinances, or prefectural regulations.
  8. 7-8. When the guest does not comply with the prohibitions stipulated in the hotel's rules and regulations, such as smoking in bedrooms, tampering with firefighting equipment, or other prohibited acts necessary for fire prevention purposes.
  9. 7-9. When the guest conceals the fact that they have reserved a guestroom within the hotel for the purpose of making a profit, either for themselves or for a third party.
    When the hotel terminates the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee as specified in Appendix 2.

When this hotel cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the preceding paragraph, the hotel will not charge the guest for accommodation services that have not yet been provided.

Article 8 - Guest Registration

Guests are required to register the following information on the hotel’s check-in system the day before their stay, in accordance with government regulations and administrative guidance related to the hotel business.

  1. 8-1. Guest name, age, gender, address, contact number, and occupancy.
  2. 8-2. For foreign nationals without an address in Japan, their nationality and passport number are required.
  3. 8-3. For foreign nationals, it is required to present their passport and agree to have the front desk scan it.
  4. 8-4. Departure date and expected time of departure.
  5. 8-5. Any other details deemed necessary by the hotel

When a guest intends to make payment for the charges under Article 12 using methods such as accommodation vouchers or credit cards, they are required to present these documents during the registration process mentioned in the preceding clause.

Article 9 - Hours of Guest Room Usage

  1. 9-1. Guests may use the hotel room from the check-in time established by the hotel until the check-out time. However, for consecutive stays, the room may be used throughout the day, excluding the arrival and departure dates.
  2. 9-2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the previous paragraph, the hotel may accommodate requests for room use outside the specified times. In such cases, an additional fee (including consumption tax) determined by the hotel will apply.

Article 10 - Compliance with Rules and Regulations

  • 10-1. Guests are required to adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations posted within the hotel premises.
  • 10-2. When a guest's use of the hotel is for purposes other than those intended or involves actions that are contrary to public order and morals, and if such actions are likely to harm the hotel's social reputation, hotel may take an action such as prohibition of publication or exercise of such act, and the guest shall observe the action upon request from the Hotel.

Article 11 - Business Hours

  1. 11-1. The check-in hours at the accommodation are as listed on each reservation website.
  2. 11-2. Emergency contact information is provided in the house manual located within the accommodation facilities.

Article 12 - Payment of Accommodation Charges

  1. 12-1. The breakdown and calculation method of accommodation fees and related charges to be paid by guests shall be as listed in Appendix 1.
  2. 12-2. The payment of the accommodation charges and other fees mentioned in the preceding clause shall be made by currency or any other method approved by the accommodation facilities.
  3. 12-3. A guest shall pay an accommodation charge even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay in the accommodation after a guest room is provided by the hotel and made available to the guest,

Article 13 - Liability of the hotel

The hotel shall compensate the guest for any damages arising from failure to execute the accommodation agreement or its related agreements. However, this shall not apply when damages are caused by reasons not attributable to the hotel.

Article 14 - Procedures when the contracted guest room cannot be provided

  1. 14-1. If and when the hotel is unable to provide the contracted room to the guest, the hotel will seek the guest's consent to arrange alternative accommodation under the same conditions, to the extent possible.
  2. 14-2. The hotel, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding clause, shall compensate the guest with a penalty fee equivalent amount if unable to arrange alternative accommodation at another lodging facility. This compensation fee will be deducted from any damages awarded. However, no compensation fee will be paid if the hotel is not at fault for the inability to provide the room.

Article 15 - Custody of Baggage and Belongings of Guest

  1. 15-1. We will not accept the safekeeping of guests' personal belongings, cash, or valuables.
  2. 15-2. In the case a guest left any baggage or belongings behind after checked out, if the owner of such baggage or belongings contracts the Hotel and give instruction, the Hotel shall respond to it, but in principle, no notification will be provided by the Hotel to the owner. In case of cash or valuables that are left behind, the Hotel shall keep it in custody for seven (7) days (including the day of discovery) and thereafter report it to the nearby police office, or, in case of other goods, the Hotel shall keep it in custody for seven (14) days and thereafter discard it. In case of foodstuff, the Hotel shall dispose of on the day of discovery.
  3. 15-3. The hotel may inspect the contents of any forgotten luggage or personal items to handle them appropriately according to their nature. The hotel may, if necessary, return these items to the owner or process them as specified in the preceding paragraph. Guests cannot raise objections to this procedure.

Article 16 - Liability of Guest

  1. 16-1. The Guest shall be liable to the Hotel for any damage incurred by the Hotel which was caused due to willful misconduct or negligence of the guest.
  2. 16-2. All areas of the hotel (except designated smoking areas) are non-smoking. If smoking is confirmed in the guest room or within the facility, a cleaning fee and compensation for the loss of room sales will be charged as outlined in Appendix 3.

Article 17 - Disclaimer

The guest may use the Internet connection service in the Hotel at its own risk. The Hotel shall not be liable at all for any damages caused to the guest as a result of interruption of the Internet connection caused by any system failure or other reasons while using the Internet connection service in the Hotel. In addition, the guest shall have the liability to compensate for any damage suffered by the Hotel or a third party caused in connection with the use of the Internet connection service by the guest.

Article 18 - Governing Law

Any and all disputes arising between the guest and the Hotel in relation to an Accommodation Agreement shall be governed by laws of Japan and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance over any such dispute.

Appendix 1 Breakdown of Accommodation Charge and Other Charges (Article 2 Paragraph1 and Article 12 Paragraph 1)

Remarks:The basic accommodation fee is based on the rates displayed on our hotel's website and other platforms. There are no child rates.

* The room cleaning fee includes the cost of cleaning after check-out.

Appendix 2 Cancellation charges (Article 6 Paragraph2)

*Percentage (%) is a rate of the cancellation charge to the basic accommodation charge.

*In the case reservation is cancelled in part and the number of days reserved is reduced, a cancellation charge for the number of days cancelled shall be paid.

*Those cancellation charges stated above are subject to temporary change during a specific period defined by the Hotel including end of year to the beginning of new year, Christmas day, etc.

*Cancellation charges may be different from those stated above depending on the accommodation plan. Please check the cancellation charges applied to the accommodation plan of your choice.

Appendix 3(Related to Article 16, Paragraph 2)

* The number of days a room is unavailable for sale will be determined by the hotel based on the actual days it has refrained from selling. However, the maximum limit will be 10 days.
